Dr Jennifer Li
Dr Li is an orthodontist with a wide range of training in the field by her earlier life exposure working in renowned orthodontic education centers, Sydney University orthodontic discipline, the University of Hong Kong orthodontic department, and the Michigan University dental school. These centers are excellent in their clinical education in different areas globally and with experiencing each of them Dr Li has been exposed to a wide range of treatment philosophy, school of thoughts, and clinical skills which benefits patients presented with different occlusions and skeletal types.
Dr Li worked as a clinical educator for seven years in Hong Kong and Sydney, was elected as a Fellow of Royal Surgeons of Edinburgh (FDSRCS) in 2017, has had a few research papers and a book chapter published in relation to TMJ problems and clinical solutions. Dr Li also worked as a postdoc research fellow in Michigan University studying the cleft palate and genetic factors that contribute to the Cleft palate using knock-out mice models.
Dr Li obtained her Ph.D degree 2009 from the University of Hong Kong Supervised by Prof Bakr Rabie(HKU), MOrth RCS Edinburgh 2008 through examination in Hong Kong and later elected as an oversea member by the college (Edin), Master of Orthodontics from Xi’ an Jiaotong University with Prof Ye, Xiangyu, and Bachelor of Dental Medicine from Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU).
Jennifer has a lovely and cheerful character, being friendly, open and direct. During her free time she enjoys exploring art, music, sports and sightseeing around.
